Special Character not able to add into Access table.

Hi Guys,

I'm having tough time to insert my link into access table.
Below is the code and the error. Any advise?
After test, found that the error mostly cause by the "." accdb

STRING characters must have quotes around it...

"VALUES ('" & me.txtPartnum & "','" & me.issues & "'" .....

NOTE: if your values have single quotes in it then you must use double quotes in the sql.

Hi Ranman, thanks for your reply. I got it now.
But i have another issue that is after i browse and put the link.
When i click the link, it's not working. Any advise ?

Hi All,

I've run to another issue which is after i put on the link.
In the form view, browse using hyperlink and insert the link then i've tried to click the link but not able redirect me to the file i need.
Same issue after i added into the table.
Any advice?

You haven't told us anything about your "business"/ database.
What do you expect/want to happen when you click the hyperlink??
