    What Property is this?

What property in the form properties dialogue box controls whether you have the maximize, minimize, and close option in the upper right hand corner.

There is one missing on one of my forms and I want to replace it. I am not sure what property to change.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

Is that al there is to it? I tried removing a close button in that area of the form properties. Yes, the button stops working button it is still redded out in the area. I am not kidding.

It seems that the form that have no min max button do not have a place on them where the button should be the whole schmear is just gone. I am not sure why
this is happening it is just very inconsistent on the form. Sometimes close buttons go, sometimes they do not, and if they go there is a redded out area where the button close
    was located.

    What is going on?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What you are observing is normal behavior. To get completely rid of the disabled close button, you have to change the Control Box property to No. If you want the min/max but not see the close ("X") button, then perhaps this thread toward the end will be your answer (not tried): http://p2p.wrox.com/excel-vba/7312-g...tton-form.html

For clarity, did you try the method to get rid of X button via the link? That would be something good to know if it really works.

Yes, I did. I changed the Control box property to no. It worked.

    Thanks very much.
