    Add Record using Data Macros

I am trying to add a record to a table after updating a record in another table using a Data Macro ( I thought that would be the most efficient way) in the table where the record is being edited.
I can't seem to get it to work. At first I was getting a message in the Application Log that I could not add the Primary key field value and I needed to use the LastCreateRecordIdentity property.
I tried that but now I get this record in the log..."The identifier '[LastCreateRecordIdentity].[Student ID]' could not be found"

Here is an example of the data macro...

    Appreciate the help.

I know about them, but I've never used macros in projects, only VBA.

Why the same code regardless if Gate is yes or no?

    Why SetLocalVar?
