    Row percentages based on totals

    hello,

I am having a bit of difficulty performing a calculated field based on total. I have a total for a field, but I would like to use that total to show a percentage of each row. Is there an easy way of doing this or does it need to be done in a report? I am stumped.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ben

Not difficult. Have a textbox in form header or footer to Sum([fieldname]) and then textbox with expression can reference the sum textbox.

In a report can have Sum() in report or group header/footer.

Of course, these calcs are based only on the records in the form or report dataset. If the user applies filter to the form, the calcs will change.
