    Highlighting Specific Text

I have a form with text in a "comments" section. Often, I would like to bring attention to certain things within the comments for the end user. I thought I could just select the text and highlight it in some manner but that doesn't seem to be the case. Can someone tell me what I am missing?

    Thank you.

Use Conditional Formatting on that field, it is an option at the top. You can make the color change in that box when a value is found.

Thanks, I knew I could do that but need to be able to highlight, for example, dates. In the comment section I preface new comments with the date. It might say, for example, "On 1-1-17 XYZ happened, on 2-15-17 ABC happened, on 3-21-17 123 happened, etc.". I was hoping to be able to highlight those dates within the text. I will look at the conditional format option to see if there is a way to have it recognize dates and format them, regardless of what that date is.

You cannot highlight specific text within, just the whole field.

You can change the control property Text Format to Rich Text and it will allow it, but then your stored text will include HTML markup.
