Conditional Formatting (group by same data)

Hi,

Is it possible to apply "highlight same color" for any records with same info in X field?

for example,

jen - customer 1


ben - customer 1

jen - customer 2
ben - customer 2
cathy - customer 3

I would like Customer 1 (one color), Customer 2 (one color) and Customer 3 (one color).

I can't predict how customer's name will be. as long as they are the same, apply the same color. is it possible?

If "customer 1" etc. is in a field in each record then yes.

yes it is. how do I put in the criteria? will it be VBA code or conditional formatting?

If this is a continuous form then use conditional formatting
