Unhappy Newly created report is lost

I created a report by copying the one from the previous year. I went to unassigned objects and couldn't find it. Then I sorted by created date and found it under the "Created Today" area. I opened it and changed the Query data to this year's query and saved it. It didn't show up in 2017, 2016 or in the unassigned objects. It still was listed under created today. I have done this many times and have never had a report get "lost" like this. How can I move it to the 2017 group?

If you goto Custom, make sure that All Objects is checked down at the bottom.

Thank you. I checked that and it is checked. Any other ideas?
