underline a field based on a value of another field in a report

    Hi,
A report is based on a query that has an fkInstituion field, the fkInstitution field is not in the report. Is it possible to underline a PersonName field in the report if the fkInstituion field is not Null?
Can this be done on the report level and do I need to add the fkInstituiton field as a hidden field in the report?

    Best regards,
    Khalil

you can use conditional formatting. There should not be a need to have a hidden bound control, but you can add one if required, which may be the case with 2003

I used the following for conditional formatting:
    "fkInstituion" Is Not Null

I think this is not written the correct way since ALL the fields were underlined.
How do I write it the correct way?
    Thanks
