    Unhappy joining different reports challenge!

    Hi

My boss asked me to create a "joined" report.
That report is made using 2 different templates reports. Let's call them "CoverPage" and "DetailsPage" .
Both are collecting the data from the same query.
I've tried subreports, groups... it just don't work out as it's messing the reports layout...

Is there a VBA code (on load report) in order to open the "CoverPage" reports attaching/joining to it the "DetailsPage" so it could look like the same document (with 2 pages)?

    Thanks!

I've tried it too. But the problem is related to:

    - each template have a different header and footer
    - I didn't managed a way to create 2 details section (I can only use the one available), thus having the data I need to separate to the 2nd page...

My sense/guess of what you seek is this: If the data comes from the same query as you state + the description you use of 'Cover' and 'Detail': I think you want to make a Group Header in the report and put the Cover fields into the Group Head. Put the Detail fields in the Detail section below the Group Header.
