Connect to biometric device ( Attendance management software )

    Dear Gents,
Um trying to connect "Directly" the biometric device with my database so that every user on morning when he arrives and when he opens the database app, he should see what time he arrives today , And there is should be an report for the rest of month.

How can i connect directly so that the database automatically save record form the biometric ?

Access has only a few types of files it can link to. You will need to create one of those. Is there an export feature of your biometric device, such as export to Excel or text? Then you could link/import that to your Access database. It won't be timely, it will have to be done at set times, but the data will get into Access eventually.

Typically biometric devices produce log files, which can be text files. We really need to know more information about how your device saves its data in order to help you more with this.
