    A little help with relationship

hi so i have a project with lots of tasks. I can do all the tasks with queries and stuff but i can't make the relationship of my project.
I need to create an example business database where the business is built of departments. One position can be in couple departments.
In the employee table everyone has EGN, name......The salary of employee depends entirely on his position.

Try again to describe the issue. No jargon. How do these things fit together in your business?

    I see things like:

    -Project
    -Task
    -Department
    -Position
    -Employee

but it's your business and related rules that makes the relationship(s). You don't build relationships independent of the business.

I need to create fake bussiness company where the company has departments. One position can be in multiple departments. The salary of employee depends upon his position. This is the only table i was given.

Hmmm. You need a plan. Just like an architect, I suggest you create a picture (data model) to show how the things relate to each other.
I don't think a position can exist in multiple Departments. You may be confusing a Title or Level associated with a Position, but in organizations I am familiar with a Position is unique. A Position is often assigned a number and other attributes eg Title

Here are a couple of data models that may help.

Good luck.Click image for larger version.
