How to use AttachDSNLessTable
Hi
I've got a Access database that works great linking to SQL database, I want to however roll this out without having to add the ODBC connection to every single person that would use it. I've done some googling and found the AttachDSNLessTable but not sure how to really use it in terms of creating the table in the first place? Do I have to write some VBA for creating the table also?
Sorry this is probably a very simple question but I haven't touch access for over 16 years since I was at school so I'm a little rusty!!!
Cheers

RuralGuy: Do you have direct experience with the code in the referenced link, specifically with Access 2016?

@barryseymour - Sorry Barry but I do not. There are probably some helper that *do* have experience though. I'll try and round up some.

Don't worry about it. I'm getting ready to jump in after lunch. I've tried using a DSN on a shared folder and it won't meet my needs. Going to try the 'recreate DSNLess connections' and 'relink all tables to that' after lunch. I'll post my results here.

I'm watching your other thread too that PBaldy is helping on. Good luck with the project. Paul is "A number one" as far as I'm concerned.
