Can Header be centered of 2 or more columns

I have a simple database that I use to keep up with IP Address assignment in a network that only uses static IP Addresses. I have a report that shows me two fields, addresses that have been assigned and a description of where that address is used. The report is setup to do 2 columns, left to right, then down. I would like to center the header over both columns but I don't see any possible way to do that. Ill upload a copy and you will need to view the report in "print preview" to see the columns and how the header will only work over the left column.

can you not put the header over the 2 columns, stretch the box over both, then center the text?

In design view, the report is under 4" wide so you can only see the left column, so there is no way to make the header label wider there. That's necessary for letter size printing.

Then under page setup and columns, 2 columns are selected, and the print preview and printout looks like this

If you change the color of the Page Header it will stretch all the way across - doesn't fix your problem but may be a workaround.

You can change the width of the columns. By default they match the width of the detail. You can expand the width of the header, then set your columns to a custom size. See attached.

For future reference this modification is done under the layout view, click on columns and uncheck the box that says "Same as detail."
