Adding New Records - All new records are moving to beginning of record list- how to prevent this?

When I add new records to a form, and hit "refresh" in the form, the new record is moving to the beginning of the record list for that given entry.

The program is set up like this: Each customer has a one-to-many relationship with all the invoices they have incurred during a given time period. When looking up a customer in a form, a new invoice is added using a subform. Hitting refresh after the new entry is complete moves the new entry to the beginning of the record list within the subform. The program didn't always do this, and I cannot think of any changes I may have made that could have caused this. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help on this!

    Thank you

    Sort order on the subform.
