Attempting to up date a Query.. PLEASE HELP!!

Scratching my head on this one

I am attempting to update a query.
I have a column that has Minor in each row. I am trying change it to Junior using the update Query feature.
These are the steps I follow

    1. I select my table
    2. I click the Create button
    3. I select the Query Design
It displays my tables and I choose the drivers table
    4. I close the Show Table pop up screen
    5. I choose the one field I need (Class)
    6. As you can see the class column has the following

I am attempting to update and change Minor to Junior
    7. I select Design
    8. I select Update in the Query Type field
The Update To field is displayed
    9. I add Juniors to the Update To field.
    10. I add Minor to the Criteria field

    11. I click on the Data sheet view, and it shows only the Minor categories

If I click on the Run button, all of this with be gone. What am I doing wrong? Please if anybody sees what I am doing wrong, can you let me know.

That is correct. It is showing you all the records that meet your Criteria of the Class field equalling "Minor".

If I click on the Run button, all of this with be gone. What am I doing wrong? Please if anybody sees what I am doing wrong, can you let me know.
If you click the Run button, it should first give you a warning that it is about to update X amount of records, and ask if that is OK.
If you allow it, it will them make all those changes.
If you then try to view the records in the Update query again, it will not show you any records since no more records meet your criteria of Class equalling "Minor" (since they have all been changed).
If you open up the Table, you will see the changes have been made.
