The access help is hiding info to me

the excel help has a lot of formulas and if I write for example random in the excel help I will find info on the syntax
the vba excel help has a lot of formulas, methods, classes, objects, properties, and it clearly states what he is talking about like for example random(property)

but how come that in the access help I type count and I don't find any useful info
-I type formulas and I don't find any useful info
-I type dcount and I don't find the formula help

but I know that the dcount (function) exists because I read on the internet

so how should I search the excel general help (not vba) to find info on the dcount formula? (because I do have the help file installed)

I use Techonthenet.com to ensure that I understand the syntax for Excel and Access Formulas. Here is a link for Dcount
