    That is what we're getting but if our users open the MPL form which is what they check everyday, they would want to see ALL practices whether or not they have active / inactive providers. If you open the MPL form you will notice ACCK is not listed because they don't have any active providers, but our users need to still be able see that Practice on the form.

    I hope I am not stressing you out.

    I have been out for a few hours.
    I am certain that part of the issues you are facing is based on your table designs.
    Your questions and requirements seem to be focused on how, not what.

    How represents a technique to use Access to get something from your database.
    What represents business "things" that are important to you and the business. Getting the essence of the things and the relationship(business rules) between them clear, and represented in your tables and relationships is key to database.

    In very general terms, you have

    Providers and Practices

    It seems a Provider can be in 1 and only 1 Practice.
    Further that Provider may be in a status that you call Active/Inactive/InProgress

    A Practice may have 0,1 or Many Providers.

    Practice---->PracticeHasProvider<------Provider
