Post Loading pictures (JPGs) to item in Access 2016 database

I am setting up a database including pictures of classic and modern cars. I use the Attachment type of field, which seems to have effectively a size limitation. Whenever I hit the limit, I have to breakdown the database into smaller parts - and re-input some - but not all -0 of the attached JPGs. The limit seems to depend on the number/size of the JPGs attached rather than the number of entries in the table.

Is there a limit, if so how high is it, is it numbers or size?

Also does anyone know a better way of storing pictures in an Access 2016 database?

I cannot find anything about storing pictures in the various manuals I have looked at!

because of the limit, DONT store photos in the database.
instead, store the paths in a field and save the actual photos on a server.

    you can then LOADPICTURE txtBox
to view the record on a form and save db size.
