Access 2007 crashes when List Properties and Methods dialogue box opens

Access 2007 crashes when List Properties and Methods dialogue box opens when I'm editing a VBA module.



It happens when I right click and select 'List Properties and Methods' and also when I invoke it whilst typing code.

Windows itself throws up a dialogue box saying 'Microsoft Access has stopped working' and gives no further options.

It was working fine a couple of weeks ago. I have tried a different database, but there's no change.

Any ideas?

I'm running Ms Access 2007 under Windows 10.

Sounds like a corrupted driver. I've had this happen on a PC.
you can try repairing the install.
or
remove access, then reinstall.

Sometimes this works, sometimes not.
the 1 PC I had this NEVER would work it correctly. Once I swapped out laptops, it worked fine.
some PC just have a conflict that won't resolve.

I tried both of those, but it hasn't worked. Maybe if I could somehow wipe the installation, including settings and drivers.

Too much work and starting over. Get another PC. Used if needed.
