    How do I correct a sort in a report when it is fine in the query?

    Hi all,

    I created a series of queries (fun pun, huh{LOL}) for some reports for different suppliers.



    My problem is that while in the queries, the items are sorted (in ascending order) by part number and saved; in the report, the items DO NOT appear in ascending order.

    Any suggestions?

    Sorting in a report has to be specified in Group & Sort, on the ribbon if it doesn't appear below.

    there is no point sorting your query for a report - reports do their own sorting and grouping
