    Prevent updates to library

    Hello all

I have written a database in Access 2007 and it all works fine on a machine running Access 2007. Unfortunately, one of my colleagues is running it at home in an Office 365 environment, and when she next tries to use it on her office machine at work (running Access 2007 again) it complains, and when I look into the problem, there is a 'missing' library component relating to Access 15. Once I delete that, it works fine again. The question I am asking is can I disable any new library reference additions to this database please?

    Regards

    Dave

    Which one?
If its in the library references, then just remove the checkmark, then check the good one.

    Hi Ranman

Thanks for the suggestion, and doing what you suggest does make it work - but what I want to achieve is to prevent Office 365 adding itself to the library in the first place, or programmatically removing it when it boots up so that a machine running Office 2007 won't experience the problem.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
