Getting all boxes on the screen (code, immediate, project and properties)

When I start to enter some VBA code examples the following occurs:

I create a new database in MS Access 2010.

After I press Alt-F11 to bring up the properties, project, code and immediate window the I have some problems in just getting all four of them on
the computer's monitor screen - in order to do some VBA code debugging.

For example if I insert a module and then try to see the code window there are no other
windows shown such as project, properties and immediate window. Then if I bring up the immediate
window, the code window disappears; bring back the code window using the view drop down menu
and the immediate windows is now gone.

It would be great if I could have all four of them on the screen, but now I usually just get only one.

Sizing each is a pain since a simple maximizing of one box causes it to take up the whole screen.

How do I get all of them on the monitor together?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

try dragging the immediate, properties and project windows off the vba window (click on the relevant title bar and drag). You can then resize and place where you like and they stay on top of the code window. Double click on the relevant window title bar to replace back within the vba window

I have tried it now. It seems not to work.

I open up the code windows with Alt-F11. I the drop the view menu (in the code window) to select the immediate window.
It pops up apparently on top of the code window which when I move it (the immediate window) there is no code window visible beneath. What happened. It seems to me that I am allowed only one window
    open at a time.

I have had all four windows open before I just cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

I have no forms, records or tables in the new db, all I am doing is working with some VBA code.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

my guess is you have maximised the windows - on the top right of the vba window, just below the window title bar you should see the symbols for minimise, maximise and restore - click the restore option. Or it may be you have resized the immediate window (for example) in which case you need to resize it to a smaller size. Or perhaps your code window has no code to show

I finally got all of them on the monitor's screen. I am not sure how. It seems they (the windows) are on top of each other. But just moving the top window out of the way
is not enough. It must some trick that I stumbled upon.

    Thanks for your help.
