Create a sample menu database for use in our camp kitchen to enable the kitchen manager to plan menu and ingredient lists. Each week he needs to know how many ingredients he needs in order to be able to cater for the number of guests coming to camp that week (anything from 10 to 200 people per meal for 7 days of the week). You can work out what tables you would need to include bearing in mind the following:
¨ A weekly menu (7 days) with three meals a day.
¨ For each meal the kitchen manager needs to be able to select from a list of different recipes. There will be at least three options for each meal which the manager will select. EG For lunch the manager could choose between hot dogs, spaghetti and sausage rolls with mashed potato.
¨ He should be able to enter the recipe description and all the ingredients for each meal choice and ingredients. There might be sub-menus for some recipes eg A recipe to bake the bread rolls when serving hot dogs.
¨ The kitchen manager should have the option of adding more meal choices with their corresponding recipes and ingredient.
¨ A kitchen manager should be able to use this database to tell him how many ingredients he will need to feed a specific number of people. For example, if he is catering for hot dogs for lunch on Monday for 200 people, he needs to know many hot dogs he will he need to order and how much bread roll mix will he need to buy.
