If you're still trying to fix this I suspect it's more to do with the database diagram objects rather than the database owner. Every time a database is created it the 'ownership' is inherited by the users's information (at least I can't find any database in my reach without an owner). You can check the ownership by right clicking on the database, selecting properties, going to the DETAILS tab. If you have an owner listed in that screen it has to do with the database diagram tools.
As I stated the database does have an owner. I know it's the database diagram tools I need help on how to fix this
How is your database constructed, are the tables in SQL server and the user interface is in access? or are the tables also in MS access?
tables are in SQL Server and the user interface is in access.

this is a SQL problem, not really a MS access problem then
Which is why I posted it on the SQL Server page of this forum
I didn't state otherwise, just clarifying because it wasn't even clear that you were using SQL until post 5 after two other exchanges. I then provided a link to a similar thread to try and help solve it.
You're right rpeare, I didn't realize that, I assumed that since I posted in the SQL Server forum it was taken for granted. I can see now where it was confusing. my apologies.
