How to make a pick list choice visible/invisible in SharePoint

    Hello,

I am working with an existing database that has a "Current" field in some of its tables. The "Current" field is a Yes/No checkbox and its function is to make the pick list choice associated with it visible/invisible in the Access database form (see picture below).

I have created two new tables and I would like them to have the same structure as this one. However, when I create a Yes/No checkbox "Current" field it does not do anything. I have refreshed the table in the Access database and Refreshed All data and still nothing.

I have looked at the properties of the existing "Current" fields that do what I would like them to do and they are just simple Yes/No checkbox.

I have only worked with Access for 2 months and I am hoping one you gurus out there can help.

    Thank you!

    If the field is yes/no,
and you have permission to write in the db
and the table is not set to read only/snapshot
or if the above is a form shown as datasheet and NOT locked,

then you should be able to check the box. Its very simple.

Thank you ranman256 for the quick reply!

I am able to click the box. The problem is that it doesn't make the pick list choice associated with it visible/invisible.

I do have permission to write in the db and the table is not set to read only. The screenshot is of the SharePoint look up table.
