I'll agree that menu and toolbars were replaced by the ribbon, but don't agree that they're not supported because I have had 2007 db's with menu bars created in earlier versions. In fact, I once had to go back and add a menu item in an accdb, which can only be done if you know how to code the menubars and menus. Where I think you are really out of luck is toolbar icons. AFAIK, the only way to add a button to a toolbar is to do it in a 2003 version before converting a copy of it.

LINKED tables and forms that it cannot open with a previous version of my application

Probably doesn't apply, but you didn't introduce any features that are not backwards compatible (such as multi valued fields)?
And these tables are Access tables, or some other type like SQL Server or MySql?

Ok that's a lot of info but the only thing that I can think of to cause this issue is that I did not convert the Backend to 2013?? What do u guys think? I mean the linked tables in 2013 are linking to 97 db but tbh if this was an issue then 2010 should've give me some problems but it doesn't ?? Also @micron it's just regular linked tables no server

I solved my issue. Since the DB had a backend I just converted the back end using 2010, and left it as a mdb in 2002-2003 format. For some reason when I convert the backend to .accdb 2013 gives me the same issue so for some reason leaving the backend as 2002-2003 format solved the issue. Thx guys hope an admin can marked this as solved.
