    Access - edit forms.

    Hi all.

About 10 years ago someone built an access database for my workplace.

That employee has since left. What I'm trying to do is change the Fax field to be email.

I've changed it in the database view but when I click Print Cover Page the cover page wont print the email address. (below pic) it prints it blank.

The original document had 'Fax' there instead and it worked. I'm guessing that the print layout has a variable called Fax and it can no longer find the fax field because I've changed it to email.

I cant find where the layout for the print cover page layout is - any thoughts on where it might be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that "Print Cover Page" button executing a Report? Have you changed the Report to use the email instead of the fax field?

So for example here's one with it all filled in and what the print cover page button spits out.

Really stupid question but where would access be storing the cover page template... I'm pretty ok with computers. This is my first time trying to work with access. Is there some menu option, or a way to navigate to it from the design view and inspecting the button etc

Thanks again. Click image for larger version.

Look at the Event tab of the property sheet for the button.
