    Automatic query closure

I have set up a database that is searchable. I have programmed a query to be able to search a section of the the database for specific keywords. When you press the search button, A pop up appears that it indicates the user to type in term or phrase they wish to search for . Upon hitting enter, all matches pull up in a print preview. However, after you close this print preview, the query remains open in table format. Is there a way to program this so that after you print the results it goes back to the main form and the query tab closes automatically? Or is there a better option than having it automatically go to print that will allow the quarry tab to close automatically? I just want this to be as user-friendly as possible and I'm concerned that some users may be confused by the fact they have to close out of the query themselves. My goal is that they only see the form at all times and just have to press buttons on the form to be able to generate the reports they want.

A form or report based on a query doesn't show the query. You must be opening the query, then a form or report which is based on the open query.
If that's true, don't open the query - just the form/report.
