    New to Access 2013 reports

    I'm just creating my first report in Access 2013 and don't have a clue what "#Size!" displayed in the text box "tbCatTotal" means. The test code looks like this where the control source for the text box is "=CatTotal()".

    Code:
    Option Compare Database
    Dim CatAmt As Currency
    Private Sub Report_Open(Cancel As Integer)
    Me.imIcon.Picture = DLookup("[IconFile]", "tblsettings")
    CatAmt = 10

    End Sub

    Public Function CatTotal()
    Me.tbCatTotal = CatAmt

    End Function

    The function doesn't return a value to display. You'd want this in the function:

    CatTotal = CatAmt

    Is "slowly" the right word?
