I tried changing the event to AfterUpdate to see if that was the problem, and it now "cannot find the referenced form 'LowRiskBehaviours'.", debugging highlights the same problem.

By the way, I have a couple of days off now, so won't be responding (unless it's basic things about the database which I just happen to know) until Monday, so you get a bit of peace and quiet for a bit!

That sounds like it is coming from the query - while the form is open, did you run the query to see if it is working? Did you add the parent form name?

    Have a great time!

When I try to open the query, it asks what is entered into the BehaviourID on the subform.

    Thanks!

Enter something into the behavior id and run the query with the data filled in.

On the form, I meant, not the query

My priorities were altered for the last two months, but I'm focussing on this again for a while, should I start a new thread or is here acceptable?

I'll put my query here in case this is fine.

Firstly, your solution to the 'Enabled only if "Present" is selected' appears to make all rows enabled if present is selected in one (I did ensure 3rdPartyIntelligence and Assessment were not enabled in the first place... eventually.

Secondly, I tried opening the query with the form open, and it just opened a query with nothing pulled through - which would explain the "invalid use of null" message I'm getting:

Name:	Duplicate Behaviour Null.PNG

Size:	10.9 KB

This occurs whenever I deselect the behaviour dropdown - unless I don't select anything, when this appears:

Size:	19.2 KB

    Debugging highlights the following section

Wow - a blast from the past! You'll have to refresh my memory:
1 - enabled issue - steps on how to get to this screen
2 - "the query" - name please - "the form" name please
3 - your dlookup doesn't make sense, you are looking up the behaviourID but you already know it (in Me!B-ID)

Just noticed that this thread is "Solved" so you'd better start a new thread. You can just answer my questions above with a hyperlink to this thread.

Thank you! I copied the dlookup you put in this thread (post 64), it may be the case I was meant to include something to indicate where the behaviour ID is located, but I wasn't aware of it.

Anyway, here is the link to the new thread: https://www.accessforums.net/showthr...63125&p=338758
