Use calculated fields of the same query

    Hi all,

I have a question, in a query I have some calculated fields and I want to use the outcome of this result for a different field in the same query. It works sometimes, but sometimes I get a input parameter value box.

My question, is it preferable to do it this way, or do you advice me to create separate queries?

it will work for an ordinary select query, but not a group by query or certain action queries - instead repeat the calculation.
