    Problem with Report

    Good Day

I have just started using access after a long break so I,m a bit of a novice. I am practicing on a Db for a Auto Repair Shop which I created maybe 4 years ago but have a problem with a report.

I have a parent report which has the customer/vehicle details and an Sub Form (continuous form) with the repair details and cost. Everything works fine except I am getting Duplicate reports for each line of the subform, if there are 5 lines I get 5 duplicate reports.

I looked at everything I can think of but can not see what I have done wrong, its driving me crazy. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some suggestion on what to look at.

    Thanks
    Mike

Can you post a jpg of your tables and relationships?
Also, what are the record sources of your form and subform?

Can you make a copy of the database and post?

    Problem with report

Thank you for your reply, remember I am a novice so be gentle with me. The Db may be in a bit of of a mess as I,ve been playing around with for days trying to fix the problem

A have attached the Db for you to view, the report in question is repEstimate, the subform is repEstimatesubR, and the forms are frmEstCustDetails & frmEstCustDetails, Query qryRepairEstimate.

After posting this I also noticed that I have the same problem with the Main form SalesInvoice, again the parent form is duplicating from the lines on the subform Work Schedule.

First time on this Forum, seem the Attachment did not work can you tell me how to do it please.

    Thanks for your help
    Mike

At the bottom of this area where you type your message, there is a button Go Advanced.
Click it and go to Manage Attachments, Click then follow the instructions.

You may want to do a Compact and Repair and then make a zip file (if your database is large) and attach the zip.

    Good luck.

    Can not attach file

    Hi

Not having a lot of luck with attachment. Tried to attache Db but after I uploaded it nothing showed, the file is 16.1 MB (16,916,480 bytes). I then did a repair and compress and made a zip file, I use 7-Zip. Tried up upload again but it failed.

Maybe I could email it to you?

By the way I,m English but live in the Philippines so there is a time difference.

    Thanks again
    Regards
    Mike
