    Error with macro, actualization

    Hello,
I'm beginning with Access. I've already seen some tutorials and tried some exercises. Now I'm trying to apply. In exercise I have done a Form where I could search by cities. I would like to create same Form.1) I prepared a query for customers and needed data.
    2) I prepared a form with text field.
    3) In criteria of cities of query I connected text field with query.

    4) In events of text field I set "after actualization", macro and actualization.
Same procedure as in exercies where it works.
In my case everything looking good, but when I write something in text field for search, MS Access writes an error:"Command or action Actualization is not avaliable at this moment." Could anybody help or advise what is wrong with my database?

PS: I have some relation in there. And if some text stayed in field and I reopen form, it shows results of searching and it "works".

not sure if something may have been lost in translation, but 'after actualization' is not an event I recognise. Do you mean 'after update'?

Yes, definitely. My fault. All where is "after actualization" should be "after update". So do you know where should be problem?

you have not provided enough information so I can only guess - I don't use macros but would have expected the error to have reported

"Command or action sometextfield_afterupdate is not avaliable at this moment"

so it may be you have a misnamed macro, perhaps with spaces

I have probably problem also in Relations. I'm not able to "Ensure referential integrity" (It is translation I hope I understand what I mean). But this is this error: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...ffice.15).aspx .
And error with update is called: "The command or action update is not currently available." And it is this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/244695
I have read both I tried to change numbers in my tabs but nothing helps.

Here is my file if help. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hvh6o97hry...se1.accdb?dl=0
    Thank you very very much.

regret I do not have access to dropbox - please zip the file and upload to this thread.

At the moment I can't relate you links to the errors you are experiencing

when you get a 'Ensure referential integrity' error this means you are trying to add a child record where the parent does not exist

I have resolved Relation. I really found different types.
    But it doesn't resolve this:

I've had a look, I don't think you need the macro - so do the following

    1. remove the macro
    2. remove the criteria from the Mesta Dotaz1 query
    3. in your Mesta Dotaz1 podformulář subform properties put Test0 in the Link Master property and Mesto in the link child property

It works...very nice and easy. Thank you.
Just for interest. Do you know why it doesn't work in my way when in my example it works?
And another one question: Do you know some site with such examples as a teaching site for me? I don't wan't disturb you (or the others) all the time

Heh well, and is possible to link more text fields to one subform? Same situation but i refer to 2 or more text fields? In case of using macro it was possible. No I start with one and hope that add another will be easy

    yes - e.g.

    linkmaster - text0, text2
    linkchild - mesto, telephon

note since your access is in a different languare you may need to separate with something different to a comma - perhaps a semi-colon (

I don't use macros so don't know - would need to see a working example to compare.

I think you would be better to find a template available in access that does what you want. Had a look at the video link and looks like it is building a search form.

Suggest google 'access search form' to find an example - there will be plenty on this forum
