    Stop an autofill

I have a database in access 2003. I enter information into two fields which are number fields. When I enter a number in column A, access automatically enters double the number in column B. If I want the same number in B as in A, or a different number not the double, I have to delete column B number then backspace to column A, then tab to column B to enter any number. How can I stop this? Thanks for any suggestions

Are you entering data with a form or directly in to a table

Sorry for late reply, I have summer cold. I enter data directly into a table. Since I could not send mdb of data, I tried to make a new table with similar but not sensitive data. The new table did not act like my original database, no auto correct as stated above. So I imported all my original data into the new database. Works fine, no auto correct of numbers? Do not know what changed or why. New database works find. Thanks for the time taken to try and solve my problem.
