Question Split Database not accessing data file on new server

I have an Access database that I split and it has been working beautifully on a single user c:\ drive. We are setting up a shared server not and have put the back end database on the F: drive with the front end on our C:\ drives. When trying to open the file, we get an error that it can't find it on the C: drive. I even put the front end file on the server to try to run the system from there. I still get the same message that it can't find the file on the c: drive. How do I get the front end to look for the file on or f:\ drive? I've called microsoft and they are of no help, but have offered to help me for $499 which pays for ONE incident! Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me. Susan

    Welcome to the forum....

So you have a split dB and you moved the BE from a local C:\ drive to a network F:\ drive?
Did you relink the BE tables to the FE? Relinking the tables tells Access where to look for the data tables.

In the FE, click on the menu "External Data". Look for "Linked Table Manager".
Follow the prompts. Be sure and check "Always Prompt for new Location".
