    Cascading-Combo box

    Hello,
I have a excel table as shown below, in which I want to view this table when am entering a data into Access form to fill only one field in a form and remaining Fields are filled Manually. So I am thinking to create a Linked cascading combo i.e for Eg: when I select B -->Option1--> data(B Column) -->*******
Has (*****)to be selected , only (****) has to be inserted into Table(Everything is done in Access 2010)

    so my questions are
    1) Can Linked cascading combo can be designed in Access ?

    2) If yes, How to do so?

    3) If No, which approach has to be used?

    Thanks in advance

    In simple words
    http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/...d.php?t=275155

According to the link Eg provided by you

When I select Product type , Colour , Product and Quantity , everything is entered into the table.

But My point is I want to select all but only quantity has to be entered into table

OK, well that example will work for a single form with unbound fields, but not a continuous form or datasheet where those fields need to be bound.

If your requirement is for a single form, the link provides a solution. Take the example form, clear the controlsource properties for the combo then run as a single form.
