    Comparing data

    Hi guys

. I would like to compare data by monthly totals this year to monthly totals the previous year. There are four fields to the data [Parts made], [parts scrap] [cost of made] and [cost of scrap]. I currently have queries working out this years current monthly totals and have them in graph form as well. It is my intention to put the two sets of data in graph form . Any pointers with this problem would be greatly appreciated

without knowing your table structure and relationships, could be one of a number of ways

    perhaps a union query

    perhaps using subqueries

perhaps using a group by query
