    Tables Shared Over VPN Connection

I'm looking for a better solution to my current situation:

Right now I have a split database and the backend portion is sitting on a shared folder in one building and is being shared with a bunch of computers in that building. There's no problem there, but now we have another building down the road and I have that setup with a VPN connection over teamviewer and that frontend database is now saving information to the backend database in building 1 as well but everything is real slow about it.

Is there an easier way to do this that is also quicker when saving information to the backend database?

    Thanks!

Use Remote Desktop instead of Team Viewer.
