Can you freeze the header on a report so as you scroll down the header doesnt move?

    Hello,
I have a report that gets pretty long (its viewed on PC not printed) and as you scroll down you kind of get lost in the report since the header scrolls with the report. Is there any way to make it like Excel where you can lock the header column and scroll through the report so the headers stay visible?

    Bonus question
is there a way to add a customizable sort function to a report? so after the report is ran I could sort it by DOB or last name stuff like that. I don't mean have it sorted when the report runs, I mean a sort option to change the sort after the report is displayed.

    Thanks,
    Will

Sounds like you use Report view rather than Preview? You could use a report with a subreport, with the header in the main report.

in the above scenario, you can also a sort option and affect the record source or Group & Sort.
