    Loss of letter accents - dbf to access

    I'm trying to export a dbf to Access. The accent marks above the Spanish letters are being lost and replaced by other characters. The same thing happens when trying to use dbf to Excel. Is there some conditional setting? Access newbie.

    change the default font to a set that has these characters.
