    Report shows record ID number, but not text

    I have had this problem throught the years, and can never seem to figure out how to fix it. I don't know why Access continues to have this quirk.
    I have a query called "Find Encore Velour Orders", and it works great.
    When I created a report based on it, my field "Description" shows up as the record number from the Products table, not the text description of the product.

    I have tried many attempts to solve, and the forums just confuse me more.
    I do understand that in my table "Orders" I am using a lookup field and I know I should not do that. But, I always forget that rule when creating databases.
    I am attaching a zipped version of my database.
    Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! My technical jargon is not that great. Thanks! Specialty Drape.zip

    Really?

    In your business, does every Order involve only 1 Product?
    Is this a test/development database?

    Perhaps you could describe your business that this database supports in simple terms too help us understand the things involved, how they relate etc.

    We often see

    Customers make 1 or many Orders
    An Order can be for 1 or Many Items
    Items may be included in 1 or Many Orders

    The general relationships are as follows:

    Customer --->Order--->OrderLineItem<---Item

    Thank you Orange! I was writing you a reply then had to look at the database to answer your questions. This time when I ran my reports, they work fine!
    So, I must have made a change that was put into affect after re-boot. I wish I knew what I did! I appreciate your time and input.
