Using a form to enter one field and populate the rest.

It has been quite a while since I have used access. I have been tasked with making our inventory database easier to enter inventory into our system.

I have a form that auto populates a new transaction number. I then want to scan the UPC of the product and have it populate certain fields such as description, our stk number and the category.

    Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

You would use a query with a Join as the Record Source of the form. I would probably join on the UPC field.
