Never seen this one. Going to a field has nothing to do with a connection. A tab, or click will do that.
it could be a 'false' error due to another error.
    Is the database split?
    what size is it?

    Please tell readers more about
I have a DB that is being accessed by several staff at the same time.

Split database? Separate front ends on each PC?
