Creating a report with results of multiple queries

    Hi all,

At the moment I have a report that is creeated by Excel. The excel vba connects to the database, pulls al the fields into the sheet, and then formulas run to create the report.
as it has over 7000 formulas in various sheets, it is becoming very slow and pron to errors.

I was hoping to do the same still inside the database. I need to sum up (or mabye better to say count up) how many status on a the previous day with some criteria. As example: how many cases received yesterday, how many cases started with yesterdays date.
I guess I can use some access "formulas" to do the same, but this means I will need a huge layout to get the same as I have in excel (all the way to column BT and 78 rows)

What are my best options to get the same done?

    Greetings.

Establish Base data and derived data columns for your different sheets. Create tables for the base data, make queries for derived data. Sometimes 1 excel sheet can end up with several relationships. You might be able to get away with BCNF initially to get things off the ground.
