    Create a group with header and subreport

    I've never had an occasion to use a "group" in order to have a repeating header over fields of a sub-report. Been trying to follow Barton's and Larson's descriptions but coming up "dumb".

    Does one create a group via the use of "Option Group" via the toolbox then somehow add a header and then add the sub-report object to the group? If so, how is that done? The properties of the group control does not make that clear at all. OR, am I progressing down the wrong path here?

    I'm pretty sure Reports gave their own Sorting and Grouping.

    Yes, they do. My problem has been that when I create a "Option Group" control in the detail section of the main report, that while I can then add a sub-report control within the group I'm not finding how to include a group "Header" control that repeats.

    Isn't the "SubReport" simply another report with a complete set of sorting and grouping? Sorry but I've never done a subreport.
