    Report spacing issue

Hi all. I'm new to Access and trying to figure this out. I am trying to set up a form letter that sends to people based on certain queries (i.e. All members, Life Members, etc...). This would be easy if the form letter were constant but I want that to be able to be modified as well. I've been able to do it using a subreport and it works great as long as the letter is only one page. The issue runs into when the letter crosses over to a second page. What happens is that I will have the header (in the group header section) and the person it is addressed to (in the detail section). The actual letter content (the subreport in the group footer) will automatically push completely to the next page. If it is still more than one page, it will roll over to a third page. How do I keep the group footer (the letter) from pushing to the next page instead of just rolling over to a new page when the page fills?

    Thanks.

    Blake

This is not a direct answer but would a mail merge with a Word file work for you?
