    How to create running balances

If you have a file of transactions with credits and debits and you need each record to contain a balance, I have built a macro that will provide this, if anyone is interested

You should provide your solutions in the Code Repository. With explanations of how this works as file links usually end up breaking over the years.

Hi, sorry just got back on to the forum. All my development work was lost when I discovered the HP Backup & Recovery (Vista) facility couldn't read its own files. So I am re-designing the systems I need in Access 2016 under Windows 10 on anew computer. Apologies but I no longer have access to that macro.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
