    Search Box with Button on Form

    Hey everyone,

    I created a textbox and a button on a form page that contains the information from my table. The form shows the records correctly so I can easily cycle through them. My next step is actually getting the macro to work now which I am having some issues with.

    I used a macro with the "SearchForRecord"
    Object Type = Form
    Object Name = The name of my form
    Record = First
    Where Condition = "Transmittal = '" &[Forms]![Master Transmittal]![SearchBox] &"'"

    But alas when I actually click the button on the form it does nothing and doesn't show the record on the form. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    guillermoftw

    Assuming your filter is correct, it's probably because you haven't selected the form object, then applied the filter.
