    Hi Steve (and others!):

    I have zipped the file, but it's still larger than allowed. It was 592kb, and it looks like this forum cannot accept over 500kb. I am surprised it's that large with no stored data, other than the two forms. Guess some of the simple graphics ate up some of the space.

    I can't thank everyone enough for taking the time to help and point this newbie in the right direction. I love learning and find this a challenge that I've made a mission to stay the course and finish. Our staff will have to make do with an Excel spreadsheet (gulp!) until then. But this was my idea to use Access over Excel, and I have never not finished a project I started. I'm self-taught in learning the database we currently use for other reporting, but I certainly didn't create it - and my hats and respect goes to those who did. Man, there is a lot of minutia behind the scenes. I thought learning Share Point was relatively easy. But this hasn't whipped me yet!

    Yes, graphics eat a LOT of space. Since a dB is limited to 2 GB, very few programmers add pictures/clip art/etc to the forms/reports.

    Since you are learning, how about more reading?

    not sure if the forum "objects" to the use of a drop-box, but it's an option I have seen others use.

    Well, the good news is that I spoke with our department head today and there is someone at our agency that has the knowledge and expertise to build what we need, as long as our departmental budget, which relies on grants, can cover their time. Also, I will be speaking with our IT manager as they indicated they have some suggestions on other other software. I will certainly entertain all suggestions!

    Yes, drop-box has been used..... just be aware that some readers are blocked at times.

    @katiedee
    It would be interesting to see how far you have gotten... if you care to still post the dB.

    Good luck with your project.
