Microsoft Access cannot send this email message - Error 2293 64 bit

    Hi,

Recently at work, our company is now moving over to a 64 bit Windows 12 operating system.

Citrix Server setup using wyse terminals at each office and site fed from a server at our headquarters.

Under the last version of our company operating system, the DB worked fine using a basic email macro.

Under the 64 bit version, any email button no longer works and throws up the error 2293, it appears to be struggling to call Outlook?

I'm working with IT to resolve the problem prior to the full roll-out of the new system, they have examined the services to see what is happening as the button is pressed to identify what is happening behind the scenes and why the Macro is failing in 64 bit but to no avail.

Access is not installed within the Citrix environment, Access Runtime viewer is used instead but I am able to edit via a PC full version.

Is there any Outlook 2013 settings that need tweaking or does the Macro need tweaking with VBA.

My VBA knowledge is a little limited but I can learn by copying and pasting etc.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Did you also upgrade Access to 64bit? or is it still running as 32bit?

Has the runtime environment been reinstalled on 64bit windows?

Have you tried deleting the macro and recreating in the 64bit environment?

what is the error description you are getting? much more helpful than a number

    Hi Ajax,

    Thanks for your reply.

Installed 64 bit Runtime on the server and this seems to have solved the problem.

    Thanks for your help
